Why We Created These Guides

Most strobe buying advice focuses on technical specs or tries to sell you the most expensive option. We think that’s backwards.

The right strobe depends on what you’re shooting, not what you’re shooting with. A TG-6 shooter doing wide-angle with a wet lens needs more power than a full-frame shooter doing macro. Camera size doesn’t determine strobe power—your subject distance and shooting style do.

These guides give you honest, camera-specific recommendations based on real-world shooting scenarios. No BS. Just good advice to help you buy the right strobe the first time.
