Aaron Halstead

Growing up far from the ocean, I didn’t discover it until much later. A few beach trips during college in Florida and a Caribbean cruise weren’t enough to spark much interest. It wasn’t until I moved to Southern California and came across a National Geographic article about nudibranchs that I started diving deeper into the subject. After some quick research, I realized Southern California had great diving spots. Since then, I’ve upgraded my equipment, diving in places from British Columbia down through California, as well as the Caribbean, Indonesia, and the Philippines. You can see more of my work on Facebook or Instagram.

She wants to take people diving and show them why she’s so enamored by being underwater, be it by actually leading them into the abyss or telling the ocean’s stories though photos, video, and text.
