Description
The Olympus TG-6 and TG-7 are the most capable compact cameras available for underwater use — fast lenses, excellent macro modes, and a form factor that fits almost any diving situation. What they need is a housing that matches that capability, not a generic pouch that leaves you guessing whether it sealed properly before you hit the water.
The TG-PRO is a dedicated aluminum housing machined specifically for the TG series. Every button, dial, and control is accessible exactly where you’d expect it. Depth-rated to 100m / 330ft, it covers technical and recreational dives alike, and the hard-anodized aluminum body is far more durable than polycarbonate alternatives at comparable prices.
Built-in electronic vacuum system lets you pressure-test the housing on the surface before every dive — a real advantage when you’re relying on a seal you assembled yourself. An M16 bulkhead port is included if you prefer a manual vacuum pump setup instead. The housing also accommodates an 18650 battery to keep your camera charged across multiple dives.
For optics, the TG-PRO threads directly onto 52mm wet lenses — macro lenses, wide angle converters — or accepts 67mm lenses with a step-up ring. Fiber optic sync port for external strobes is included, so you’re not limited to available light.
