Description
The Optical Snoot for the KR-S80 converts your strobe from a broad flash into a precision spotlight for macro photography. The snoot restricts the beam to a tight circle — your subject is lit precisely, the background falls to black, and the result is a high-contrast macro image that flat strobe lighting cannot produce.
The technique takes practice. Small, stationary subjects — nudibranchs, blennies, cleaning shrimp — work best. Having a dive buddy aim the snoot while you operate the camera gives you more control when starting out.
Colour Filters
Compatible with the FT06 Colour Filter Set — six gel filters that slot into the snoot for creative colour effects and fluorescence excitation.
