Description
The NR-4000 is a canister-format dive light built for technical diving, cave diving, wreck penetration, and any situation where burn time and beam reach matter more than compact size. The separate battery canister keeps the head lightweight on your hand or goodman handle while the canister rides on your tank or harness — a setup that stays balanced through long dives and doesn’t fatigue your wrist.
8° Beam — Built to Reach
The NR-4000 throws a tight 8° spot with real reach. In low-visibility water — silt, plankton, thermoclines — a narrow beam punches through instead of bouncing back. In clear water, it reaches further than any wide-angle flood light at the same output. For wreck penetration and cave diving, where you need to see down a corridor or into a dark void, the NR-4000’s beam is what the job requires.
3 Hours at Full Power
The canister battery format exists for one reason: runtime. 3 hours at full 4,000 lumen output means you can run multiple dives on a single charge — a full technical dive, a deep wreck, or back-to-back recreational dives without worrying about the light failing before the dive is done. Most handheld lights at this output level last 30–60 minutes. The NR-4000 is in a different category.
Sidemount and Straight Configurations
Available in two versions — Straight (standard goodman handle mounting) and Sidemount (angled canister for sidemount harness setups). The canister attaches to your tank band or harness D-ring. Comes with the goodman handle shown.
