Description
The Dome Diffuser fits over the front of compatible Kraken video lights and softens the beam — spreading the output more evenly and reducing the intensity of the central hotspot. The result is a softer, more wrapping light that works well for subjects where harsh direct illumination creates unwanted specular highlights, particularly macro subjects with reflective shells or scales.
For wide-angle shooting, the diffuser also helps blend the transition between the lit foreground and the ambient background — reducing the hard edge that a concentrated beam can create when shooting at shorter distances.
