Description

Abyss 6000 — Clean Output, Accurate Color

6,000 lumens of white flood light. No color modes, no added complexity — just reliable, consistent output for divers who want to set their exposure and shoot.

The Abyss 6000 is designed for stable brightness through the dive. Output doesn’t drift as the battery drains; you set your level at the start and it holds. The domed lens produces a wide, even beam with soft edges — no hotspots, no hard falloff.

Combined with CRI 90 at 5600K, the colors in your footage look the way they actually were. Reds, oranges, and skin tones reproduce naturally instead of shifting toward the greenish cast common with lower-CRI lights. If you’ve come back from a dive trip with footage that looked fine underwater but needed hours of color correction, this is the light that fixes that at the source.

Precision power dial with 11 steps lets you adjust brightness smoothly — works with thick gloves. At 520g on land and 265g in the water, it’s compact enough for travel and light enough to run as a pair on a standard tray. Comes with YS mount, ball mount, USB-C PD charger, and spare O-rings.

Burst Mode — Fiber-Optic Triggered

Sync via fiber optic cable to your camera’s built-in flash and the Abyss 6000 fires a quick, bright pulse — up to 7,000 lumens — timed to your shutter. Recycle is fast. The difference from a dedicated strobe is flash duration: a xenon strobe fires in microseconds, which is what fully freezes motion. Burst fires longer, so very fast subjects won’t be frozen as sharply. For macro work on slower-moving subjects, it gives you a real brightness spike that continuous light alone cannot produce.
